Default xeloda

Please be careful when taking Xeloda, my mom had a very severe reaction to Xeloda and ended up in ICU. She is lacking a particular enzyme that breaksdown the 5FU in Xeloda. This has caused a severe case of mucositis and all of her blood counts to drop. When admitted to ICU, they couldnt get a reading on her blood pressure. She had excessive bleeding that required constant suctioning from her mouth and lungs. It is a horrible, horrible thing. Has anyone else experienced this?
