Default thyrogen

I have also just read all of the posts. I have just received my second hyrogen shot today. I go in tomorrow for my pill and blood test and then go back on Friday for scan and blood test. It took two years to get my TSH down so that they could check my thyroglubulin level. It was "undetectable". After my surgery to take out the other half of my thyroid (the cold nodule turned out to be follicular variant of papillary carcinoma), the docs put me on synthroid and then a few months later, when they could schedule me in for my scan, I was taken off of the synthroid <br>14 days prior. It was terrible!! I felt worse than I'd ever felt in my life! I'd still rather take the thyrogen at this point than go through another hypothyroid period.
