Default Avelox

My pulmonary Doctor gave me Avelox the last time I visited him. He was in the process of moving his office so being thoughtful he gave me a prescription to start taking if I started coughing up yellow stuff. About two months later I had need to start taking Avelox. It was easy on my system but didn't clear up the infection. I took two prescriptions of it (5 doses each) It didn't clear up the problem. I had occasion to visit another dr to get refills for another problem. While I was there I got a good physical. He gave me medicine for high blood pressure. Those two medications gave me hives so bad that it was the worst the dr had seen in a long time. I am off Avelox for good. I am now taking prednisone to get rid of the hives. A double dose of prednisone I might add. (eight two days, seven two days etc.)
