Benicar (Olmesartin) muscle & joint pain

I took generic Benicar (Olmesartin) for one week and developed severe muscle & joint pain in my neck, shoulders, upper and lower arms and hands. I stopped the medication 8 days ago and the side effects aren't improving.

I started on generic. Started to have severe lower back pain. Unable to suddenly do any work or function. Not sleeping at night due to pain. Saw my PCP and he diagnosed it as arthritis. Never had an ache or pain prior. Continuing medication. Severe pain in left arm, difficulty breathing with exercise, pain in right shoulder radiating to right elbow. Saw his PA and placed on Mobic. Unable to take due to bloody nose and huge bruises. Taking some ibuprophen with less bruising. Went off Benicar for several days and pain cleared but B/P went up. Back on it and pain returned. Also pain in shoulders and arms with tingling in fingers about 1-1 1/2 hour hours after taking. Plan on changing PCP and stopping this drug. This drug gets a 0 on the useful scale. Debilitation due to drug or risk of stroke. Might be a no-brainer!
